We’re launching an exciting new initiative!
Tampere Flute Fest 2026 is launching an exciting new initiative, inviting submissions from flutists of all nationalities who are currently pursuing doctoral studies. We are seeking outstanding contributors for workshop and lecture-recital presentations at our upcoming festival, scheduled for April 23–26, 2026, in Tampere, Finland.
This new platform provides an opportunity to showcase innovative and artistically enriching projects that explore the intersection of academic research and artistic practice, aligned with the 2026 festival theme: Fantasy: From Baroque to Modern.
Submissions are open from September 10, 2025, to November 10, 2025, and should draw on a wide range of perspectives—musicological, performative, historical, or interdisciplinary—as long as they relate meaningfully to the theme.
Selected participants will be notified shortly after the deadline and will receive full access as artists for the entire duration of the 2026 Tampere Flute Fest.
