TFF is all about inspiring and empowering the next generations!
Founded in 2020, the Tampere Flute Fest (TFF) is dedicated to inspiring the artists of the next generation to meaningfully and creatively engage with their education as they curate their journey and prepare for a professional career in music.
TFF’s mission is to play a pivotal role in assisting emerging artists, future leaders and educators to achieve career sustainability. It successfully achieves that by providing learning opportunities that go beyond the art of mastering flute playing, such as mentorship, business management and entrepreneurship, networking, and building lasting connections with some of the world’s most renowned musicians. To further support the vision, TFF places a significant emphasis on instilling the youth with essential human values such as respect, the power of friendship and comradery, and courage to show and shine one’s distinct artistic voice in performance.
Through international competitions, webinars, workshops, masterclasses, recitals, the publication of a quarterly magazine and other educational programs, TFF equips the next generation with an invaluable toolbox that helps them carve out a fulfilling career, and serves as a platform for nurturing not only high level musicianship, but also character and integrity.
We are proud to share that many of our former TFF flutists have gone on to secure competitive orchestral positions and triumph in acclaimed international competitions worldwide. Their devotion to their craft continues to have a positive impact on their lives as well as those who they touch with their music. That is a testament to the transformative power of TFF.
