Rebecca Viora is a flutist and voiceover artist based in Turin and Berlin. She began playing at the age of seven with Caro Bosticco, and at the age of eleven won a special prize in the Chieri International Competition. Rebecca obtained her Bachelor and Master Diploma at the Conservatorio G. Verdi of Turin, graduating cum laude. She has attended the Chigiana Accademy with Patrick Gallois and the Intérnational Académie d’été de Nice with D. Formisano and J.C Gérard. In 2013, she won a scholarship with the DeSono Association, enabling her to attend the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento Artistico Perosi and study with Davide Formisano for three consecutive years. Rebecca has participated in masterclasses held by S. Careddu, P. Taballione, A. Manco, Peter Lukas-Graf, B. Fromanger and G. Pretto. Currently, she works as a freelancer, performing with orchestras such as the Filarmonica della Scala in Milan, the Noord Nederlands Orkest in The Netherlands, Teatro Coccia in Novara, Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino OFT, Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, Sinfonica di Asti and others. Combining her orchestral activities with educational projects, she is involved in various organizations such as Diderot of CRT Foundation and Livemotiv of Association DeSono. She is also a part of different ensembles, including a duo with guitarist Pietro Locatto and harpist Anna Astesano, with whom she plays regularly at festivals such as Lingotto Musica, Il Timbro, Reggia di Venaria and others. As a performing artist, Rebecca has performed Facades by Walton and has recited the Divine Comedy with musicians from the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. Her voice works include tv ads, series, commercials, cartoons animation. Rebecca is the Co-Founder of Il Camerificio Association.
