Noemi Gyori
International Soloist / Royal Northern College of Music
Noemi Gyori has established a remarkable presence in the classical music scene as an exceptionally versatile flutist. She has performed at major international festivals in twenty-nine countries and led masterclasses on three continents. A sought-after recording artist, she has released six solo albums, all receiving international critical acclaim. Noemi is the first flutist to hold a PhD in Flute Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since 2008, she has been principal flute of the Jewish Chamber Orchestra in Munich and has played as a guest with esteemed orchestras, including the BBC Philharmonic.
Beatriz Macías
Estonian National Opera and Ballet / Tampere Flute Fest
Mexican-American flutist Beatriz Macías is celebrated for the “voice-like beauty” of her playing and her remarkable versatility in the classical music industry. Currently holding the position of Principal Flute with the Estonian National Opera and Ballet, Macías has performed with renowned orchestras worldwide such as the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, Frankfurt Radio Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, among others. In addition to her successful performing career, Macías is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Tampere Flute Fest in Finland.
Gareth McLearnon
Haynes European Artist-in-Residence
Gareth McLearnon is an internationally renowned, multi-award-winning flute soloist, recording artist, chamber musician, educator, and prolific composer. He has conducted hundreds of masterclasses for thousands of flutists globally, including at prestigious institutions like Yale University and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Since 2009, Gareth has been principal flute of The Heritage Orchestra, performing across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. As a composer, his works for flute and piano, as well as flute ensembles, are performed worldwide. He is a European Artist-in-Residence for Wm. S. Haynes Co.
Kristin Müürsepp
Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre / Tartu I Music School
Kristin Müürsepp is a distinguished Estonian flutist and educator. She studied in Estonia and Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig under Prof. Irmela Bossler. Kristin has served as co-principal flutist with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and principal flutist for the Vanemuine Theatre Symphony Orchestra. She was also a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). A founding member of Leipzig’s Contemporary Insights Ensemble, she teaches at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Tartu I Music School, while actively performing in various ensembles.

Mihkel Peäske is a renowned Estonian flutist and teacher who studied at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe under Renate Greiss-Armin and Matthias Allin. As the principal flutist of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of NYYD Ensemble, he has won several national and international awards. In addition to his performing career, he teaches at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Tallinn College of Music and Ballet, mentoring many successful music students.
Heili Rosin-Leivategija
Eller Music School
Estonian piccolo virtuoso Heili Rosin-Leivategija studied at Tallinn Music High School under Mihkel Peäske and continued her education at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. She has participated in masterclasses across Europe and has been part of the International Piccolo Festival in Grado since 2017. At 19, Heili became the principal flutist at the Estonian National Opera and has performed with leading orchestras in Germany. She has won several competitions and has taught at Eller Music School since 2020.
Robert Tobin
Irish Music Specialist
Robert Tobin is originally from Ireland and has been living in Finland since 2017. Having studied in Dublin, Vienna and Zürich, he freelances in Finland and Europe. Tobin’s focus lies currently in chamber music and Irish traditional folk music, in which he has many groups he plays in regularly, including Tale of the Gael, the Atlantic Orchestra Project and others. He also plays with guitarist Jonne Grans, bringing new transcriptions to life for flute and guitar.
Malla Vivolin
Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra
Malla Vivolin is the Co-Principal Flutist of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and a member of the Uusinta Ensemble. A contemporary music specialist, Vivolin is currently concentrating on her doctoral thesis at her alma mater, the University of Arts’ Sibelius Academy. Vivolin is also a flute teacher at the Tampere University of Applied Sciences Music Department.
Baltic Flute Quartet
The Baltic Flute Quartet, featuring Lithuanian Giedrius Gelgotas, Estonian Mihkel Peäske, and Latvians Reinis Lapa and Andis Klučnieks, boasts an impressive repertoire of works by Baltic composers, creating a musical journey through the three countries. This concert marks their first performance in Estonia.
