Requirements
Requirements
All entrants must be between the ages of 18-30 on the last day of the festival. Previous first-prize winners of this competition are ineligible to compete.
Registration Form
All entrants must submit their entry, upload videos/supplemental materials, and pay the 65€ competition fee by 23.59 Eastern European Time, Monday, January 16, 2023.
Preliminary Video Round
The preliminary video round should be added as a YouTube link to the Registration Form. The program must be recorded in the order listed, and in one continuous, high quality, unedited recording. Videos not meeting this criteria will be disqualified. All pieces with accompaniment should be played with accompaniment.

Theobald Böhm’s Grande Polonaise arrangement for piccolo and piano by Karin Bonelli will be released on February 2023.
Semifinal and Final
Live Rounds
Live in Tampere
Both the semifinal and final rounds will be held in Tampere, Finland on April 14-16, 2023. A pianist will be provided by the festival, although contestants may bring a pianist at their own expense.
Semifinal Round
Semifinalists accepted will be notified no later than Monday, February 6, 2023 and should be prepared to provide a short biography and high quality photo.
Final Round
The final round should display the performer’s artistic and creative maturity, technical and tonal qualities. The program should reflect a wide variety of styles and/or periods. This may include single movements of works, sonatas, concerti, and solo works.
